At the beginning of January, we found out that I was pregnant. I wasn’t feeling well, so I took a pregnancy test before calling the doctor the next morning. To my surprise, two pink lines showed up. I screamed for Jaycob. He came in looked at the test, laughed, and didn’t believe it. He said to take another one and he went to bed. I waited an hour or two, then took another test – again, two happy pink lines. I went to bed and called the nurse in the morning. She said that the tests are pretty accurate and to schedule an appointment for my 8th week check-up. When Jaycob came home from baseball practice, I had this note waiting for him:
He was shocked & thrilled!
We waited until after our first check-up (ultrasound) that confirmed the pregnancy, before telling our families. We put it up on the skype screen while skyping Jaycob’s family in Arizona. We put the picture in an envelope and gave it to my parents then showed my siblings after.
Here is a close up of the tag:
Now we only have six weeks left until my due date. We are so anxious and excited to meet this little one!
